Workforce Readiness Program (WRP)

Campus / Entry level hiring: Hire - Train - Deploy model for fresher in which we hire students from colleges and train them as per the requirement of clients. With completion of the training, these people are deployed at client location. 

Udaan: Udaan, the Special Industry Initiative (SII) for Jammu & Kashmir (J&K) is funded by Ministry of Home Affairs and implemented by National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). The program is a part of the overall initiative for addressing economic issues in the state of J&K by government of India. Under this initiative, the graduates and post graduates from Jammu & Kashmir state will be trained on Sales for various industry segments like FMCG, FMCD, Telecom (Smartphone Sales), Pharmaceuticals for various roles like Shop Promoters, Customer Relationship Executive, Sales Executive, Store Manager, etc. While steps are being taken by the State and Central Government to revive economic activity in J&K, Udaan program is a special initiative to address the needs of the educated unemployed students of J&K. Udaan program is focused on youth of Jammu & Kashmir (J&K) who are graduates, Post graduates and three year diploma engineers. The aim is to provide skills and job opportunities to the youth. Simultaneously, the aim is also to provide exposure to corporate India towards the rich talent pool available in J&K. 

Manpower Observation & Results: The principal focus of the Udaan program is to create an ecosystem that would bridge this gap. The UDAAN program is designed to encourage corporates to travel to J&K meet with the youth and hire aspiring youth in J&K who wish to explore the opportunity to work with corporates. Manpower provides a framework to the students to travel and undergo residential training organized for a period of 3 months & boarding facilities in firms and transit to work. Objectives: 

1. To provide exposure to the students of Jammu and Kashmir to the best corporate clients of ManpowerGroup 

2. Provide ManpowerGroup clients India with well-trained candidates 

3. Successful training & job opportunities provided to 500+ students within a year of UDAAN program
