About the programme
Helping to boost the well-being of our communities while adhering to our ESG values, ManpowerGroup India collaborated with Amar Jyoti Charitable Trust, an NGO to set up a solar energy system, intending to reduce electricity costs for the community. Accumulated funds from reduced electricity usage were utilised to educate and empower the underprivileged sections in Delhi.
How did we do it?
The installation of solar panels made it possible to reduce electricity costs, which were then used to educate, counsel, and empower disadvantaged children, both with and without disabilities. These funding also kicked off the community's rehabilitation programmes for youngsters with disabilities.
